The South Bethany Community Relations Committee – established in May 2022.

 

Mission/Purpose:

The purpose of the Community Relations Committee is to increase and enhance communication between the Town and property owners; to foster a sense of community and encourage residents’ engagement and volunteerism; and to promote the stewardship of individual and Town-owned properties.

News Updates:

Monthly Coffee and Conversation: The Community Relations Committee is sponsoring Coffee & Conversation with the MERR Institute, on Friday, July 10, 2026, at 10 a.m., South Bethany Town Hall. A representative from the Marine Education, Research & Rehabilitation (MERR) Institute will be present to give information on the conservation of marine mammals and sea turtles. It is MERR’s commitment to contribute to the preservation of these species through research and rescue efforts, and to foster greater understanding and appreciation of these species. All are welcome to stop by for a few minutes or the full hour. 

Everyone is invited to join our Comprehensive Plan consultants, Rossi Group on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. at South Bethany Town Hall. Representatives will be available to answer questions and hear comments about the Comprehensive Plan process. Enjoy coffee and treats while sharing your thoughts and ideas.
