Due to the public health threat of COVID-19, Town of South Bethany public buildings are closed to the public through May 15, 2020, and the beaches within the Town shall be CLOSED for ALL purposes. Tryout Location: South 2nd Street – South Bethany
Lifeguard Qualifying Requirements:
500 yard swim under 10 minutes
300 meter soft sand run under 65 seconds
25 yard underwater swim while holding breath
Must be 16 years of age

Help us to restore our sand dunes. Use only the walkways to get to the beach. Walkways are located at the ends of N. 6th, N. 4th, N. 2nd, Division, S. 1st, S. 2nd, S. 3rd, S. 4th, S. 5th, S. 6th, S. 9th, Indian, Jamaica, Kewanee, and Logan.
Do not walk between houses to get to the beach and do not go under houses – this is trespassing.
The handicap accessible ramp is located at S. 3rd.
