University of Delaware/South Bethany Community Planning Advisory Group Survey

We need your help. The Town is seeking your opinion about the challenges we are facing related to flooding and coastal resiliency. Your feedback is important to us and will help us plan future resiliency efforts including flood mitigation projects and infrastructure improvements. Please complete the short survey at the link below; it should take less than ten minutes of your time. Answers are anonymous though we do ask for you to state the name of the street on which your property resides so we may compare responses across areas of Town. If you require a physical copy of the survey, they are available per request at Town Hall (only one per person who comes in). The survey results will be compiled by planners at the University of Delaware who we hired to assist in this effort.
The preliminary results of the survey will be shared at a community meeting at Town Hall on Thursday, May 15, 2025, beginning at 12:30 p.m. At this meeting, there will be opportunities for property owners and residents to share additional input, ask questions, and engage in discussions about these issues. A second meeting will be scheduled during the summer months to provide further opportunity for attendance and participation.
The Council strongly encourages property owners to complete the survey and attend the upcoming community meetings to have their opinions heard. We thank you for your time and input.
