Town of South Bethany Board of Adjustment (BOA) Vacancies

There are three vacancies on the Board of Adjustment due to term expiration. Each 3 year term is set to expire in August 2027. If you are interested and meet the requirement below, please submit a brief resume to the Town by 3 p.m. on July 31, 2024. 

Requirements: The Board consists of five members who are full-time residents or own property and reside in Town at least 30 days, consecutively or non-consecutively, each year.

Board members should be knowledgeable of the problems of urban and rural development and become familiarized with Town Code, specifically Chapter 145, Zoning.

All new members will be required to attend a class through the University of Delaware regarding procedures, standards and composition of the Board of Adjustment, paid by the Town of South Bethany.
