South Bethany Announces Closure of Beach

The Town of South Bethany, along with other Delaware and Maryland coastal towns, is temporarily closing the beach for swimming due to recent reports of medical waste washing ashore. We continue to inspect the beach, and access will be restricted to ensure the safety of the public.

Report the presence of medical waste to the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC) hotline at 800-662-8802.
