DESCRIPTION:The Community Relations Committee is sponsoring Coffee wit
 h Birds\, on Friday\, September 18\, 2026\, at 8:30 a.m. Meet at Town 
 Hall for coffee before the group begins the walk toward Canal Road. Jo
 in John Janowski on a leisurely half mile walk along Canal Road to enj
 oy coffee\, conversation\, and the sights and sounds of early autumn m
 igration. The upper reach of Jefferson Creek is one of South Bethany’s
  best birding spots\, with prime salt marsh habitat where participants
  may see herons\, egrets\, ibis\, rails\, and shorebirds feeding on th
 e ponds. Binoculars and wearing comfy shoes are highly recommended. A 
 spotting scope will be available for close-up views\, and participants
  should bring insect repellent in case it is needed. Coffee and Conver
 sation events are held monthly (unless otherwise noted)\, with a diffe
 rent featured visitor each month.
